Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction
The Center for Psychotherapy Safety is committed to fair and transparent pricing for all continuing education offerings. We understand that circumstances change, and we strive to accommodate reasonable refund and cancellation requests. This policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for our online self-paced courses and live (synchronous) courses.
Online (Self-Paced) Courses
Refund eligibility for online self-paced courses depends on how much content has been accessed and when the request is made relative to the date of purchase.

Technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing course content are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us with details of the issue, and we will work to resolve it or issue an appropriate refund.
Live Courses
Live courses include webinars, workshops, and other synchronous training events. Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation request is received relative to the scheduled event date.

Course credits issued in lieu of a refund are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and may be applied to any CPS continuing education offering.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Contact Us
Email ce-refunds@psychotherapysafety.org with your refund request. Please include your full name, the email address used at enrollment, and the reason for your request.

Provide Order Information
Include your order confirmation number, course title, date of purchase, and any relevant details that support your request (e.g., technical issues encountered).

Receive Your Refund
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval, returned to the original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been issued.
Additional Information
Disclosure
All course fees, refund terms, and cancellation deadlines are clearly disclosed on the course registration page before purchase. By completing your enrollment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the terms of this policy.
Course Bundles and Packages
If you purchased a bundle or package of courses, refund eligibility is evaluated based on the individual courses within the bundle. Courses that have been completed or for which a CE certificate has been issued are not eligible for a refund. The refund amount will be prorated based on the remaining eligible courses.
